Hollyoaks
Maxine and Patrick’s scenes have become increasingly hard to watch, but they continue to highlight an important issue. We really hope that the developing storyline involves Darren and Nancy realising more is going on than meets the eye and Maxine soon gets the help she needs to escape the situation.
The character Maxine has great style and we love her black and white tribal pattern jacket. It’s an oldie from River Island and is unfortunately no longer available.
Fun fact: Long-standing viewers have probably seen it on screen in Hollyoaks a few times before, but EastEnders fans may also recognise this jacket, as the character Janine also briefly wore the same one! We also think we may have identified a wardrobe faux pas in Hollyoaks Village because Mercedes has worn this too!
