Corrie character Michelle Connor had a very popular wardrobe, but her tops were a particular favourite. Here is a round-up of all Michelle’s tops we found before the character departed Coronation Street in December 2019.

Michelle Connor Rose Gold Foil T-Shirt

During the 17th & 19th October 2018 Corrie episodes, Michelle wore a lovely rose gold panel tee.
This layered t-shirt was from River Island possibly as far back as 2016/17. Michelle could be seen wearing this on our television screens again in July and November 2019.
Michelle’s Metallic Vest Top

Michelle debuted this metallic top in Coronation Street on 26 July 2017. The character quite liked her gold, silver and sparkly accents so we expected to receive quite a few enquiries about this Coronation Street wardrobe item.
The match we found above originally retailed for £50 from Reiss earlier in 2017.
Michelle’s Sparkly Choker Top

Despite the ‘Nick’s Bistro’ business going through testing times back in July 2017, it was a sartorial era of new sparkly and metallic outfits for Michelle in Coronation Street. The Corrie character wore this top a few times in 2017. It was originally from Topshop earlier the same year.
Michelle’s Floral Top With Black Sleeves

The style of this top always reminded us of Michelle’s bestie Carla Connor’s wardrobe.
We found the above top when Michelle first wore it in March 2015 from Warehouse. Seen again in April 2017, this became a wardrobe favourite for the character and appeared during numerous episodes through to 2017
Michelle’s Black Sparkly Sequin Top

Michelle had a few sequin tops in the Corrie wardrobe department. This eye-catching black one was first worn back in 2017 and was an instant hit with viewers looking for a similar going out top.
Featuring an asymmetric cropped metallic knit with sequin embellishment over a lightweight second layer, our match was originally from Oasis late 2016 and sold out very quickly after we ID’d it.
Michelle’s Holographic Foil T-Shirt

The Coronation Street wardrobe department might have gone on a bit of a shopping spree back in 2016, because there were quite a few new additions to Michelle’s wardrobe around that time.
One addition was this futuristic holographic effect foil tee from Topshop. It caught our eye in the above photo and was seen on screen during June, July & August 2016.
Michelle’s Blue Stud Shoulder Top

Michelle started wearing this top during June 2016 episodes of Coronation Street and we quickly noticed a recurring styling theme at the same time… this was yet another top in the Michelle Corrie wardrobe with stud embellishment!
Our match above was the premium soft cotton t-shirt with contrasting silver stripes in ‘Blue/Multi’ from Karen Millen. Keen-eyed fashion spotters will have no doubt noticed this on screen during multiple Corrie episodes since we first featured it.
Michelle’s Stripe Jumper

We didn’t often see Michelle wearing a cosy jumper, so we were regularly asked about her fluffy red and black striped one whenever it appeared on our TV screens.
Originally from Diesel, we think it was first worn way back in early 2015 but it could have even pre-dated that!
Michelle’s Purple / Burgundy Blouse

November 2015 saw lots of new outfit additions to the Coronation Street wardrobe, including Michelle’s gorgeous deep-coloured blouse with cut-out neck detail. Michelle wore this top again throughout 2016.
We had a hunch that this would be popular and were not surprised when enquiries started to pop-up on
This top was from River Island earlier in 2015.
Michelle’s Light Floral Top

First seen during what was a week of pretty floral tops in Coronation Street back in 2015, Michelle wore the above top with a beautiful watercolour print whilst on her “double date” with Liz, Steve and Floyd in the Bistro.
Featuring a soft jersey material and contrast sleeves, this top was originally from Warehouse.
Michelle’s Black Bow Top

While catching-up on Corrie episodes back in 2015, we realised Michelle’s top looked familiar. It’s the above match from Topshop dating back to mid/late 2013.
If you take a look back through our archives you’ll see that
Michelle’s Black & White Pattern Top

The character Michelle wore the above monochrome top from 2015 and we always received new enqiries about it after being on screen.
This top is an old favourite originally from Miss Selfridge in 2014.
Michelle’s Gold Sequin Top

Michelle wore two outfits during Friday’s Corrie episodes back in June 2014. First-up was her white and black lightning print blouse. Michelle’s second outfit for Steve’s 40th birthday party partially consisted of her trademark black, but with a sparkly gold sequin boxy top.
We didn’t get a fantastic look at the detail on this top whilst it was on screen because Michelle wore her leather jacket over it most of the time. The match above was originally from Topshop.
Michelle’s Lightning Bolt Blouse

Poor Steve, getting a pair of slippers for his 40th… Think we’d be a bit miffed at that choice of present too. In tonight’s episode Michelle wore a white and black lightning print blouse, which was from Topshop earlier in 2014.
Amazingly, we occasionally spot this blouse worn on TV today – over six years after it was in Topshop!
Michelle’s Blue Stripe Top

It was finally ‘goodbye Tina’ in Monday’s Corrie on 2/6/14. We enjoyed Roy’s scene with Carla, with his suggestion to go to the pub because “[…] it’s what people do, isn’t it?”. Bless him.
Michelle loves her stripes and she wore the above top whilst scorning everyone who knew about Peter and Tina’s affair. Featuring drop sleeves and a Breton-style design with contrast direction panels, it was the ‘Brushstroke Stripe T-shirt’ from Karen Millen earlier in 2014.
Michelle’s Navy & Beige Stripe Top

This Michelle Connor top had a reverse design, with button detail running down the back and a lace pattern at the front.
It was originally from Oasis, possibly dating as far back as April 2013.
Michelle’s Pink & Black Stripe Top

This was one of Michelle’s favourite tops and we always received lots of requests for it. Featuring a bold contrasting stripe panel front with zip detail at the back, this boxy tee was from Topshop, purchased late 2013.
