Soap Fashion Round-Up: October 2018

Where to buy the clothes & outfits seen on Emmerdale, Coronation Street, EastEnders & Hollyoaks throughout October.

It was a good month at SoapStyle thanks to certain characters keeping us busy with new outfits! Ruby (EastEnders) and Leyla (Emmerdale) reigned supreme in the soap style stakes and the popularity of Jean’s (EastEnders) clothes continued to surprise (Sausage surprise?!) us. We also had a Soap Wedding thrown into the mix, thanks to Steve and Tracy (Coronation St).

Emmerdale

During October, Emmerdale was the main event for us with thanks to the dramatic Masquerade Ball at Home Farm, plus a popular returning character…

Leyla Harding: Take a deep breath, as we’ve lots of lovely Leyla clothes! First up was Leyla’s Grey Flower Collar Jumper worn under this new Pink Blazer. Over both of these, Leyla wore a striking Kimono Jacket for drinks at the Woolpack accessorised with a new Bright Pink Shopper Bag.

Two other very popular wardrobe items were Leyla’s Pink Ruffle Jumper and just sneaking into October on 31st was a cute Embellished Bee Jumper.

 
Rebecca White: Rebecca settled back into Emmerdale life mainly wearing cosy jumpers (shortly before leaving again!) but we did spot Rebecca’s Red Kimono Cardigan and Boho Jacket.

 
Charity Dingle: Charity wowed in a sleek Red Dress for the Home Farm Masquerade Ball.

 
Faith Dingle: Faith was a sparkly siren in this Black and Gold Dress for the eventful party.

 
Tracy Metcalfe: Tracy also chose a Red Dress for the Masked Ball.

 
Megan Macey: The always-stylish character wore another gorgeous Pencil Dress.

Coronation Street

Did you spot that we have added a few new Coronation Street fashion finds this month? We also had some returning favourites.

 
Tracy Barlow (McDonald): We just knew that Tracy’s lovely Bridal Dress would end up getting ruined — most Soap Wedding dresses do!

Tracy also wore her Silver Top and quirky Cartoon Shirt this month.

 
Leanne Battersby: Leanne looked lovely in her Red Jumpsuit… well, until it come a cropper thanks to a car + Ronan Truman.

 
Abi Franklin: Lots of readers asked us about Abi’s green dress for Tracy & Steve’s wedding. We think this was the ‘Becca’ dress from Phase Eight, which is a style available in numerous prints and material. Abi’s exact dress is no longer in store.

 
Sophie Webster: Her Denim Frill Jacket was back!

 
Michelle Connor: Michelle continued to defy the gloomy weather in a Rose Gold T-Shirt… seriously, does the character at least own a few jumpers?

 
Sinead Tinker: Between making us cry with possibly one of the most heartbreaking storylines in Soapland at the moment (shared with Chas in Emmerdale) and laugh at her daft comments, Sinead wore a cosy Red Wool Coat.

Sinead also briefly wore her cute Owl Jumper again.

 
Sarah-Louise Platt: We very briefly saw Sarah-Lou’s Khaki Green Jacket.

EastEnders

Thank heavens for Ruby in EastEnders this month, otherwise our fashion finds for this Soap would be a bit thin on the ground!

 
Ruby Allen: We kicked-off our Ruby EastEnders clothes finds with her Yellow Fringed Dress, then her pretty Pink Blouse, followed by Ruby’s Blue Biker jacket.

 
Linda Carter: Wore her Floral Cardigan for Sharon’s birthday drinks. Linda also went flipping Flamingo crazy again in her Flamingo Sweater and Flamingo Jacket.

 
Sharon Mitchell: Took a brief break for air from canoodling with Keanu whilst wearing a Sparkly Top.

 
Tina Carter: Tina wore her Dinosaur Jumper and Sushi Jumper again. We’re beginning to wonder when/if Wardrobe will do some new shopping for the character.

 
Jean Slater: Jean’s popular Elephant Cardigan was put aside this month, but we did spot an adorable SAUSAGE Dog tee.

 
Honey (Susan) Mitchell: Wore a midnight blue Velvet Dress for a date with her Dashing Dentist. The character also re-wore her popular 70s inspired Floral Bell Sleeve Top.

 
Mel Owen: Did you know we also find selected Home Décor? Well you do now! Here’s Mel’s Living Room Wallpaper.

 
Whitney Dean: This month saw the return of Whitney’s Black & White Shirt Dress.
