There is certainly an eclectic mix of wallpapers and furnishings in The Albert (or ‘Pearl’s Bar’ as it was originally named). Somewhere between the geometric and kitsch prints, the above Manga style wallpaper occasionally peaks through. We got to see it in more detail in tonight’s episode whilst Vincent was by the security alarm box, just before Phil pounced (3/8/2015).
This is quite an old print. It was simply called ‘Manga Black & White Wallpaper’ from the Lutece range by designer Jean-Charles De Castelbajac and priced around £19.98 per 10m roll. This wallpaper had a bit of a cult following amongst the Manga & Anime crowd between 2011-13 when it was originally available.
