Poppy really found her own sense of style as her time in Walford went on. She wore some lovely floral prints and readers became particularity interested in where her coats were from; they often had a little quirky twist.

Poppy’s Sail Boat Jumper

This made its first on-screen appearance just as everyone was asking: “Who is taking Dot’s things?” First a beloved ashtray, then some ham — it all got a bit Twilight Zone in Dot’s household for a hot minute. Well, perhaps until viewers really did lose interest and they finally revealed it to be Fatboy sleep walking with the munchies. Not exactly one of EastEnders’ finest storylines!
Whilst this (not very) exciting turn of events was unfolding, Detective Inspector Meadow could be spotted in a very nautical blue and white sail boat jumper from Topshop.
Poppy’s Red Flower Playsuit

Around the time that this was on screen, we couldn’t help thinking that we’d love to spend a day in Poppy’s world. It must have been a fantastic place! This red flower playsuit was from People Tree.
Poppy’s Floral Peplum Dress

There was a point in EastEnders when Poppy Meadow really started taking after her namesake and wearing nothing but floral prints. Her outfit above from Jane Norman came at the pinnacle of this obvious sartorial choice.
Poppy’s Cream Floral Rose Playsuit

Another day and another floral print. However, Poppy was far from her bright and breezy self whilst wearing this River Island playsuit after learning that she would have to ‘earn’ her job back when the new salon owner Sadie (remember her?) took over.
Poppy’s Blue Floral Jacket Top

Unsurprisingly, we had a few requests for this pretty chiffon jacket at the time. It was from H&M and Poppy would often wear it with the sleeve cuffs hidden inside to create a bell shape.
Poppy’s Fluffy Green / Chartreuse Boyfriend Coat

We received a few requests for Poppy’s distinctive coat after she first wore it in 2013 and later in 2014. It was a hard one to miss! This boyfriend coat design from Topshop had two large pockets and was made from a stroke-able fluffy material.
Poppy’s Black & Grey Polka Dot Coat

If not wearing her bright green furry coat, the character would often be seen in this smart dark grey coat from Red Herring at Debenhams with black spots / polka dots.
Poppy’s Cream Bird Jumper

On the very rare occasion that Poppy wasn’t wearing floral prints, she could be seen wearing cute motifs. This fluffy love bird jumper from H&M definitely made us go “aww”.
