Lauren Branning’s clothes (the Jacqueline Jossa era) were some of the first fashion finds ever to appear on SoapStyle, so she will always have a special place here. We have compiled a round-up of the most popular dresses we found and ID’d from when SoapStyle began — up until the character’s farewell in February 2018.
Previously famed for her student-tomboy look, Lauren began wearing more dresses from around late 2013. This was quite a style shift away from her checked shirts, skinny jeans and iconic biker jacket!

The Date Night Black Floral Embroidered Dress

Following from her lovely
The Bold Stripe Wrap-Over Dress

This was one of Lauren’s favourite dresses after her return from New Zealand with Steven. Featuring bold stripes and a d-ring detail at the belt, it was originally from Warehouse.
A Black Mesh Skater Dress

Lauren, Whitney and Abi were all glammed-up for their big night out in Shoreditch during the Good Friday episode and Lauren bought a new dress for the occasion. Let’s be honest: This was probably to impress Posh Josh, rather than Steven!
Her black fit and flare dress with lace panel and keyhole button neck was available earlier the same year from ASOS.
A Practical Grey Stripe Pinafore Dress

Lauren first wore this grey vertical stripe pinafore dress whilst trying to persuade her Dad, Max, to support her application for a job at his place of work. There was no stopping Lauren once she’d put her mind to something! Fast forward to August 2017 and Lauren had already attempted to hand in her notice to Posh Josh. Oh dear.
Featuring silver-coloured fastenings and two large pockets at the sides, Lauren often styled this with a black top underneath. Our match above was exclusively from ASOS.
The ‘Going Out’ Orange Striped Dress

To celebrate her new web design contract, Lauren & Co. put their glad rags on ready to hit The Albert for mocktails and drinks.
Lauren chose the above 2-in-1 dress from ASOS for the occasion, featuring a mixed stripe design and zip fastening at the back. This quickly sold out after we first featured it.
A Very Popular Embroidered Dress

Jacqueline Jossa as Lauren wore a lovely blue embroidered dress with a delicate tulle skirt for Roxy and Alfie’s ill-fated wedding back in November 2013. We were able to exclusively reveal that it was from Miss Selfridge before the episode aired! It was a bit of a shame that we only got to see this popular dress on screen once.
The Black & White Paisley Dress

The above teaser photo of Jacqueline Jossa (as Lauren) and Jamie Lomas (as Jake) was released back in 2013, when we saw some of her more grungy outfits replaced with fit’n’flare skater dresses.
This was originally from Miss Selfridge.
A Chic White / Grey Dress

When returning from some much-needed R&R in the summer of 2013, Lauren got herself a job at the ‘Branning Bros.’ car lot and looked stunning in this textured cut-out back dress from the Vila fashion label.
The Pretty In Blush Pink Lace Dress

Lauren’s delicate blush pink lace dress from Lipsy was seen in the 21st and 24th June episodes, when she went on a ‘first date’ with Peter Beale. Paired with a
Grey Poppy Print Zip Front Dress

Whilst Lauren and Lucy shared their last ever scene together outside Ronnie and Roxy’s house warming party, Lauren wore a flippy-style zip front Miss Selfridge dress with a graphic poppy print.
The ‘Pinny’ White & Black Flower Dress

Lauren wore a grey t-shirt with contrasting black sleeves underneath this distinctive Parisian at New Look pinafore dress. It was yet another new addition to her wardrobe in 2013 and first worn whilst throwing Abi a surprise exam results party. It was seen again almost exactly a year later in September 2014.
A Bright Yellow & Black Stripe Floral Dress

This flippy jersey dress with an eye-catching print was from Topshop, where black/white and peach/black versions were also available.

A Black, White & Denim Dress

This 2-in-1 dress with a rolled sleeve denim top and black / white skirt was originally from River Island in early 2013.
A 2-in-1 Chambray Dress with Red Skirt

Lauren first wore this River Island denim top dress with red floral skirt and tie waist back in 2013.
A Teal Skater Dress

The Brannings were each in their smart togs for Max’s court appearance in November 2013. We think Lauren’s dress was originally from Topshop.
New Year’s Beaded Shoulder Party Dress

Lauren wore a lovely black dress with beaded shoulders during the New Year’s Eve party at the Queen Vic. The closest match we found at the time was from AX Paris.
A Burgundy Tribal Print Skater Dress

It may have only appeared on screen once or twice, but this printed dress was very popular. We found a match from Topshop that had already sold out by the time the episode aired.
