Generally we have limited luck with getting IDs on bags and accessories, because these tend to be costume items that are much older than the rest. Just like in real life, characters wear and use the same accessories for much longer periods of time compared to clothes. A character’s handbag might have just caught your eye in an episode, but they’ve possibly used many more episodes before that.
A good example is Sarah Platt’s popular khaki green cross-body bag with gold studs. The character has been using it for over five years, but we always get fresh requests whenever it is seen on screen. We were able to get an ID for Sarah’s bag way back in July 2015. It is the Aldo ‘Pitzer’ bag and originally sold in stores late 2014 / early 2015.
Update: Five years on since we first featured Sarah’s bag and she’s still using it in 2020!
