Liz’s Bold Yellow & Black Panel Dress
Liz regularly wore this bold contrast panel River Island dress on Coronation Street throughout 2015-2016… Sure, some people might have likened her outfit to that of a Lollipop Lady, but we received lots of requests for an ID after it first appeared on our television screens. Then again, perhaps that was out of sheer curiosity.
It was almost like a Soapland version of the film “Inception” when Liz wore this blouse in April 2015. Soon after Michelle Keegan departed Corrie as Tina McIntyre, she created a successful partnership with Lipsy London. We pondered about the prospect of her fashion range appearing in Corrie. Well it happened (more than once actually) when Liz McDonald wore this blouse from the 2014 Lipsy Love Michelle Keegan collection. Who could possibly dislike a sparkly black sequin top?! Liz rocked this in April 2015 and again for New Year’s Eve in December the same year. Quite a few of our readers bought this Roman Originals top after we featured it. Now for a Liz wardrobe item that regularly caused quite a stir with viewers… First worn in 2014 when Liz came out all guns blazing to go “clubbing” with Eileen, her choice of jacket nearly created as much furore as the shiny purple disco pants that Liz donned later that week. We wholeheartedly agreed with Coronation Street Blog’s Friday 10th October Episode Review – thank heavens this jacket and Liz’s purple disco pants were not worn at the same time! In case you are wondering, Liz’s jacket was from River Island back in 2014 and was regularly seen on screen through to September 2017. Looking back, was it really that bad..?
