Coronation Street

Most of our fashion finds are once again thanks to Coronation Street, with a few new outfits popping up amongst some old favourites.

Who would have thought we’d see Christmas theme dressing in July? However, that’s exactly what happened thanks to Mary Taylor’s plan to stage ‘married couple’ photos with Norris. This meant we got to see the character don her classic Mrs Claus tunic.

Michelle Connor / McDonald wore two shiny new(ish) items; a metallic sleeveless top and knitted metallic choker top.

Leanne Battersby must have treated herself to a spot of clothes shopping and bought this new geometric print top and a pretty white cut-work detail top.

Toyah Battersby chose her victoriana top to wear during her first day as the Rovers’ Landlady and latterly a new long embroidered flower shirt. She also wore two new floral maxi and shirt dresses that we hope to ID. Update: We have now ID’d Toyah’s tropical dress!

Eva Price wore an elephant print dress whilst plotting against a cheating Aidan. The character has also recently got into wearing some nice a-line skirts, which we hope to track down.

Maria Connor might not be everyone’s favourite character right now (along with Aidan) but thankfully her wardrobe continues to be popular! We spotted her floral angel sleeve top twice this month! We are working on an ID for her floral skater dress.

Tracy Barlow added to her collection of fun prints with an anchor pattern shirt and a vibrant pink poppy tee.

Tracy also wore a new black lace top.

Sarah-Louise Platt demonstrated a love for gingham. The character wore a new gingham flower top and pink gingham ruffle shirt.

Two favourites also made another appearance when Sarah wore her sleeveless purple stripe top and wrap print dress with flared sleeves.

Alya Nazir planned a dinner date with Luke Britton whilst wearing this fun cactus print shirt.

We caught another glimpse of Kate Connor’s lemon top.

Erica Holroyd channelled her inner Cosmic Girl in a galaxy print shirt and rewore her purple animal print blouse.

Fiz Stape tried in earnest to pursue a fledgling career in antiques dealing whilst wearing her navy bird print shirt.

Rana Habeeb wore her palm print shirt.

The Rovers Return living room wallpaper also sparked a renewed interest.

EastEnders

Just a few EastEnders fashion finds this month.

Carmel Kazemi set out to wow scheming Max Branning in an eye-catching sparkly blue dress.

Lauren Branning wore a green bomber jacket and spray stencil shirt.

This pink ruffle blouse has clearly become a key part of Lauren’s work wardrobe. Plus our throwback alert sounded when her saint louis t-shirt and daisy jumpsuit from many moons ago made guest appearances.

Emmerdale

Chrissie White wore her blue cropped jacket, which is always popular.

Bernice Blackstock wore a pretty grey floral dress.

Tracy Metcalfe wore her bold floral bomber jacket.

That’s it for this round-up! There will be more to come, so keep an eye on our Latest section or Like our Facebook to see more fashion from Soapland over the coming week.
