Soap Fashion Round-Up: October 2016

Clothes worn on TV Soaps in October

Where to buy the clothes & outfits seen on Emmerdale, Coronation Street, EastEnders & Hollyoaks in October.

It was a busy week for us at SoapStyle as we were featured on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour! Don’t worry though, we still found time to track down a few items for you. Here they are in one handy round-up.

Hello! This is an old roundup from 2016

Emmerdale

This month saw us add a new character to our Emmerdale section, plus one repeat.

Rebecca White continued with the boho vibe in a yellow bow blouse layered over a green high neck top.

Tracy Shankley returned from her honeymoon looking rather orange whilst wearing her pink floral jacket.

Laurel Thomas wore a lovely 1970s inspired floral dress for little Dotty’s christening that we managed to track down.

Rhona Goskirk unwittingly became mixed-up in the week’s events whilst wearing an ornate flute sleeve floral top.

Priya Kotecha wore her cream and black jacket again.

Leyla Harding started the week in her lime green jacket with peplum detail.

Later in the week Leyla wore a much-requested coordinating top & skirt.

Meanwhile, the yellow dress worn by Holly Barton continued to be extremely popular.

P.S. We don’t have an ID for Emma’s ‘wedding’ dress, but you can find much better Soap wedding outfits here.

Corrie & Emmerdale Outfits

Coronation Street

Most of our fashion finds were courtesy of Coronation Street this month.

Michelle McDonald wore her very popular floral panel top again.

Sarah wore a lovely new rose print top.

Bethany Platt channelled the 90s in a green zip neck crop top.

Leanne Battersby wore her black butterfly print blouse again.

Alya Nazir added to her collection of high neck tops with a leopard print number.

Alya also re-wore her colour block stripe tee.

Caz creepily wore what we suspect was Maria’s dressing gown.

Sarah-Louise Platt finally wore something that matched her trusty hobo bag: A brand new khaki jacket.

Leanne Battersby unexpectedly bumped into Peter Barlow whilst wearing her sleeveless flower print top.

Tracy Barlow rekindled the love for her shell print shirt.

Sarah Platt wore a lovely new black floral shirt and continued to stroll around Weatherfield with her trusty green hobo bag.

Michelle McDonald (Connor) wore her popular purple cut-out blouse again and later covered-up with her faux leather sleeve waterfall coat.

Speaking of popular: Sophie Webster pulled out her Burberry-esque cape coat.

Making only its second appearance since purchase was Sophie’s high neck leaf print top.

Leanne Battersby wore an older spot print blouse from her collection.

At least Leanne Battersby also wore a new floral blouse.

Fiz pulled her navy & white bird print blouse out from the wardrobe again.

EastEnders

Another relative quiet one for EastEnders again this week. We really hope it’ll start to pick up soon… and the flipping council do something about the bin collection…

Whitney Dean dusted off a diamanté jumper that we first featured all the way back in 2013!

Whitney also wore a light grey buckle jumper that has sold out, but we found some on eBay here.

Dot killed Claudette Hubbard’s lovely red dress at the Laundrette.

Honey Mitchell followed Denise around the market whilst wearing her faux fur collar coat.

Stacey Branning wore a new check print top.

Belinda Peacock continued her pin-up inspired dressing with a gorgeous new spot pencil dress (pictured above) that’s still available to buy.

We were responsible for Lauren Branning’s pretty embroidered top selling out almost instantly.

Lauren also wore her tie dye top again.

Whitney Dean continued with the wedding plans in her oversized paisley print shirt.

Honey Mitchell wore two faux fur coats this week.

Honey’s geo print dress also made another appearance, along with her flare sleeve dress.

Abi Branning could be seen in her cute bird print blouse again.

Roxy Mitchell briefly wore her fringed biker jacket whilst (barely) working on Donna’s market stall. By the way — have you ever noticed that no one running a clothing stall in EastEnders ever wears anything from their own stock?

Whitney Dean has started a collection of on-trend shirt dresses. They’re fast becoming her thing.

Abi Branning apologised to Ben whilst wearing her floral check shirt from 2014.

Meanwhile, Abi’s big sister Lauren Branning wore this quilted jacket whilst helping Whitney.

Thankfully Whitney Dean wore a new blue lace bodycon dress for her hen party.

Lauren Branning’s long tie dye top made another appearance… As did her ‘LOVE’ slogan tee from 2013!

Carmel Kazemi moved into Masood’s gaff whilst wearing her geometric diamond print top.

We said ‘goodbye’ to Pam Coker with a round-up of her floral outfits.

You might also like our review of Ronnie Mitchell’s clothes before the recent onset of oversized tartan shirts and leggings!

Hollyoaks

One or two noteworthy items in Hollyoaks. We’ll be taking a closer look and hopefully getting a few more IDs over the coming week.

Nancy Osborne continued her love of prints in a lollipop heart print dress.

Maxine Minniver wore her grey loungewear playsuit again.

You’ll love Courtney Campbell’s khaki utility jacket if patch badges are your style.

That’s it for this month’s round-up. Keep an eye on our Latest section to see more fashion from Soapland over the coming week. If you missed out on any items when they were available, like our Facebook page to have a better chance next time. :)
